Volcano

Sumatra is one of my favourite places in the world, but like any great spiritual place it doesn't easily submit to photography. I've tried my best with this digital scan, but it's still some way off the original slide, taken around 6 a.m. one Indonesian morning. The volcano is real, honest, it hasn't been painted into the background.
